It's The Final Countdown

So yesterday "the" fiancee and I bought our one way tickets to California for October so this whole move is now becoming more and more real by the day. It's a bit scary but very exciting at the same time.

On another note, the Yankees are only 7.5 games out and looking strong.

So Much for That

Today the high in New York City is 96 and the forecast is for 95 tomorrow. The one saving grace is that its surprisingly not humid. I am so not a fan of this weather.

Some Thoughts

Its July in New York City and its in the 70's, I feel like I'm already in Cal. but I shouldn't get too used to this as its suppose to get hot and humid again by mid-week.

A few weeks ago I saw this documentary called 'Jesus Camp' and its still haunting me. I mean rarely does a movie stir these types of emotions in me...shock, anger, sadness. Just a very disturbing film but really worth a look.

The last few days I've been listening to a lot of Lily Allen, not my usual cup of tea but her songs are really catchy.

I wont even get into the Yankees today but I do LOVE the move that my Rangers pulled off yesterday. Can't wait for the season to start already.
